USPHL Southeast Showcase

Sept. 27-30, 2024

Chilled Ponds Ice Sports Complex, Chesapeake, VA

The USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite’s Southeast and Florida Divisions are ready to get rolling in Chesapeake, as these two heavily-scouted divisions always draw a lot of attention when they gather together. This year’s event runs Sept. 27-30. The Whalers previously hosted the Southeast Showcase in 2022, 2019, 2016 and 2015, in addition to hosting the USPHL Premier and Elite Nationals in 2021.

A total of 19 teams will hit the ice over the weekend, including 16 teams from the Southeast and Florida Divisions, the USPHL Premier’s Red River Spartans of the Great Lakes Division, and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights’ USPHL Premier and Elite teams, out of those conferences’ respective Atlantic Divisions.

BJB Shootout

Sept. 27-29, 2024

New England Sports Center, Marlborough, Mass.

The BJB Shootout returns to the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass., Sept. 27-29. The Shootout has been a staple of the USPHL calendar since the league’s inception and will provide college hockey scouts of all levels with early looks at the great talent the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite conferences bring to the ice every season.

The Junior Bruins Shootout, like the USPHL Southeast Showcase, often serves as an early introduction for scouts to players on Premier and Elite teams, in this case from across the Northeastern U.S. and Canada.

This year, there will be 14 USPHL Premier teams playing four games apiece, including the first appearance at a USPHL showcase of the six teams from the new Canada Division in the Premier. Seven Premier New England Division teams and one Atlantic Division team will also take part in the BJB Shootout. There will be nine teams competing in the USPHL Elite Conference action.
